Dude Armed With Toilet Plunger Tries To Rob A New York Bank

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Police said a 49-year-old man (Lawrence Deptola) tried to rob a central New York bank armed with a toilet plunger."

CBS New York

When a bank robber sets out to rob a bank he takes with him a gun, a knife or even a tire iron, but a toilet plunger? Needless to say Deptola wasn`t successful, the bank employees refused to give him any money.

Deptola was charged with attempted third-degree robbery, or as some wag said: Turd-degree robbery.

Deptola was arrested after a foot chase, it`s not surprising this clown didn`t have a getaway vehicle. A crook who uses a toilet plunger to rob a bank might have a bus pass or a wad of toilet paper in his pocket, but he won`t have a key to a car.

The hapless robber should be sentenced to three months of community service cleaning toilets in a retirement home or a hospital.

I wish I had a colossal toilet plunger; I would love to use it to plunge this moron down the sewer.
