Dumbbell Drops Dumbbell On Bullet, Dings Self
"Police in California said a man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder said he accidentally shot himself by dropping a dumbbell onto a bullet.
Modesto Police said the 56-year-old man, whose name was not released, told them he was working out Wednesday night when he accidentally dropped a dumbbell on a rimfire .22-caliber bullet, causing the propellant powder in the bullet to be activated and sending it into his shoulder.
My initial reaction was: What a dumbbell!
But on second thought the dude`s story sounds very suspicious, if he dropped a Grand Piano on a bullet it wouldn`t make it fire.
The cops didn`t find any gun in his house, and nobody saw anybody enter or leave his home, maybe his curious explanation is true?
Nah, it`s more plausible that this man was working out with the lonely widow next door, and when his wife found out she shot him and hid the gun.
But then again, this happened on Friday the 13th, so who really knows?
