92-Year-Old Man Still Working For US Postal Service

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A New York state man who began working for the U.S. Postal Service when he was 70 is now 92 and the oldest postal worker in a district including eight states."

Charles Cook works as a supervisor in a mail processing center, he plans on working for 25 more years.

I predict that the mail processing center where he works, as well as most of the postal system won`t exist in another ten years. As for Cook he will be lucky if he`s still breathing, let alone working, in another two years. But I admire Cook, it`s hard to find a man half his age, who works as hard and enjoys his occupation as much as the old dude.

Cook would probably be dead by now if he wasn`t hard at work at the mail center, making sure that junk mail, bills and flyers are being delivered on time.

Cook is a good symbol for the US Postal Service: A man who is as old as dirt, but still works hard at a useless job.

I love the old man, but if I were his manager I would fire him via email.
