Redneck Couple Gets Married At The Hog Waller Mud Bog & ATV Mud Pit

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A pair of Florida mud-bogging enthusiasts married at the same mud pit where the groom proposed a year ago.

Kodie Umphenour, 24, and Carina Pasco, 31, were wed Saturday at the Hog Waller Mud Bog & ATV mud pit in Putnam County in a ceremony described on the invitations as `Our Big Ol` Muddy Redneck Wedding,` The St. Augustine Record reported Wednesday.

The wedding was preceded by several minutes of mud tossing among guests and independent visitors to the mud pit. ATV riders were asked to silence their engines during the ceremony."

"On average, US couples spend $25,631 for their wedding. However, the majority of couples spend between $19,223 and $32,039. This does not include cost for a honeymoon. Understanding wedding cost now can help you with your wedding budget later."

It`s great sport to make fun of rednecks, but in this instance I have nothing but praise for Kodi and Carina. Their wedding/honeymoon only set them back a few bucks, and they won`t start their new life together in the hole.

Kodie has two children and Carina has four, they had no choice but to be frugal, raising six redneck children isn`t cheap. But since they didn`t waste a lot of money on their wedding they can afford to take the kids to a wrestling show or a circus side show every weekend.

I`d rather don a pair of Wrangler jeans and attend a redneck wedding than rent a suit and attend a typical wedding. I disagree with those who argue that the rednecks are making a mockery of the institution of marriage; the ATV riders in attendance showed respect for the solemn occasion by silencing their engines during the ceremony.

Kodie and Carina are good stewards of their finances, the typical couple who spends around $25,000 for a wedding are morons.
