Tragedy: Chicago Bride Found Stabbed To Death In Bathtub In Wedding Gown

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A bride in her wedding gown was found stabbed to death in her bathtub in a southwest suburb of Chicago this weekend, according to police.

Estrella Carrera, 25, was found on Sunday afternoon by police, just days after her Friday night wedding to a 30-year-old Chicago man. The groom`s name was not immediately released.

Police are investigating the homicide as a `domestic situation,` they said today"

ABC News

The typical wedding gown is worth a small fortune, and a bride will treasure it always as a reminder of the happiest day of life.

To find a bride in her wedding gown stabbed to death in her bathtub, is tragic beyond words. A bride in her wedding gown is an image of romance, hope and promise, to turn it into a tableaux of death is the stuff of nightmares.

Carrera was the mother of two children; I hope that fate will be kind and they will live long lives to compensate for the untimely death of their mother.

Carrera was likely a victim of domestic violence -- how sad. We fear the stranger lurking outside, unfortunately it`s the one we sleep with who sometimes turns against us.

Estrella: Rest in Peace!
