Three New Atex Advertising System Go-Lives
Atex is pleased to announce three new Atex Advertising system go-lives. The solution will enable the US media companies to consolidate their print and digital products into a single advertising database. This will help streamline the end-to-end process, enabling lower operating costs, and increasing the revenues for cross-sold ads.
The McClatchy Company
The McClatchy Company, the third-largest newspaper business in the United States, chose Atex Advertising as an enterprise-wide advertising and accounts system for managing the booking, billing and placement of all print and digital ads. Four of its titles " The Charlotte Observer, The State in Columbia, SC, the Centre Daily Times in State College, PA, and The Herald in Rock Hill, SC, " are now live with Managed Services, Classified, Retail, Preprints, Internet Tab, AdBaseAR, classified pagination, Retail page layout, Analytix, BI, and a variety of interfaces.
McClatchy will standardize advertising workflows and establish common processes across its publications to reduce operating costs, streamline advertising procedures, and enhance revenue potential with targeted print and digital ad packages.
The Atex Advertising solution has replaced McClatchy`s legacy advertising management, production and accounting systems. With Atex, McClatchy is now able to manage all order entry, financial accounting, customer relationship management, ad layout, and classified pagination in a single database " giving users at its publications an efficient and common workflow for print, web and mobile ad booking.
Atex project manager George Knapp comments, Launching all four sites at the same time is quite an accomplishment for Atex and McClatchy, but from the workshop last August through to setup, testing and audit, the teams worked towards this goal. Following this launch, we are working towards a late summer go-live for seven more newspapers, which will be a springboard for success for the remaining McClatchy go-lives. "
Angie`s List is a national company that provides verified consumer reviews of service professionals ranging from home improvement to health care via a website and call-in center. The company also produces a magazine, which according to Publisher`s Own Data as of March 2012, is mailed monthly to 834,403² member households across the country.
The company is currently using Atex`s standard tools for its advertisement/coupon section of the magazine. It uses PGL and MediaLink to manage print ad creation, pagination and output for the magazine.
Sarah Branham, Angie`s List, said, We look forward to seeing immediate benefits from the solution, including an increased efficiency and accuracy of our coupon sections, as well as providing an improved product to our members. "
Amos Publishing, an Ohio-based company which produces 15 print and online magazines for a variety of niche markets, has gone-live with Atex`s PGL pagination and layout app for its bi-monthly publication Crafts n` Things and weekly title Auto Enthusiast.
Amos has been using Atex Advertising for ten years, and decided to extend the solution in order to further enhance its processes. The company will continue the roll-out to all its titles, and include MediaLink and browser-based order entry with Atex Ad Serving solutions, which will offer increased control and efficiencies around digital advertising.
Atex recently introduced Salesforce.com integration to Atex Advertising, meaning companies can work entirely in the application and seamlessly move from opportunities to actual orders. Therefore once prospects are converted, they will automatically become Atex Advertising orders.
