Liven and Spirit With Inspiration
The SOP Word of the Day: Encourage
The word encourage means to "liven and spirit with inspiration, to infuse inspiration into someone or something". For example: This weekend, our company will have a sale and we will be promoting our top products for our customers. We will encourage them to take notice of not only the reduced price but also the high quality of the products since we are working with a new distribution channel.
Encourage can also be used as a noun. For example, I will give my students encouragement since this is a new mathematics concept and they have never seen this before. Also: It is good for parents to encourage their children because school can be difficult at times. Encouraging words and actions show students that they will benefit from learning in the future.
