Cryptography: Enciphering and Deciphering of Messages

By Keith Johnson

Cryptography - (noun) - this word refers to the enciphering and deciphering of messages in secret code.

This is an entire science, in my opinion. In today`s world of Information Technology, for example, encrypted code is a common phenomenon because when important data is transmitted from one machine or system to another machine or system, this information is protected through the practice and use of cryptography.

So, above and beyond just simple security practices, companies should use encryption when possible to secure their data and information.

Joe will complete his degree in Cryptography this spring.

Susan will encrypt the password; use this program to un-encrypt the password when you get it.
