Police Officer Delivers Baby, Mom Didn't Know She Was Pregnant

By Robert Paul Reyes

"McKenzie Acierno`s stomach hurt - bad.

`I told my husband that it felt almost like I was having a baby,` she said.

Geneva-on-the-Lake auxiliary police officer Sandy Davis arrived to help Acierno deliver a healthy baby girl Sunday morning, a surprise for mom, dad and officer."

If a woman who had no idea she was pregnant goes into labor, she needs to call Jenny Craig before she calls 911.

Geneva-on-the-Lake auxiliary police officer Sandy Davis, who had been on the job less than a year, responded to the call, and delivered a healthy baby girl.

Needless to say, McKenzie didn`t have any pre-natal care, but the infant is healthy and doing fine.

McKenzie will be taking some time off from work, her husband doesn`t have a job, and they already had two kids, hopefully the community will rally behind them and provide them with diapers, baby formula and birth control pills.

Congrats to the Acierno family!
