Pooch Eats Wad Of Cash! Owners Recover Money! Don't Ask!

By Robert Paul Reyes

A Florida family said they were able to recover $300 eaten by their beagle by collecting his droppings and washing the scraps of paper.

Corey and Hope O`Kelley of Largo said their 10-year-old beagle, Arnie, downed most of a $300 cash wad while they were sleeping last month and they soon decided the only way to recoup their loss would be to collect the pieces of the money from the canine`s droppings. "

Only a redneck, or someone who lives in Section Eight housing would leave a wad of cash just lying around. A person with a modicum of common sense would secure that kind of money in his wallet, or in a bank.

If my pooch, Mandy, ate a $300 cash wad, I would consider it an expensive lesson. I would never in a million years try to recover the money by picking through her droppings.

If I desperately needed the money, and I did the unthinkable and collected the bills from my dog`s excrement, I certainly wouldn`t tell anyone. But Corey and Hope have no shame in their game, they are more than willing to tell reporters all about their sickening behavior.

Is there anything this family wouldn`t do for money?

The couple`s bank replaced the soiled cash since they were  successful in cleaning the bills well enough to read the serial numbers.

I hope my readers aren`t eating a meal while reading this story.
