Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, National Panthers Party and Member, National Integration Council has urged Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh for India`s urgent intervention in the Middle-East to save Syria from any further death and destruction caused by the neighbouring countries.
Prof. Bhim Singh said that India since Mahatma Gandhi`s time stood for the preservation of sovereignties of the Arab nations and supported establishment of a sovereign-independent state of Palestine. NPP Chief during his recent visit to Syria had presented a report on the situation in Syria which he said was created by Anglo-American Bloc in connivance of some neighbouring powers hostile to Syria`s leadership and development. He said Mossad (Israel) had been working as an agent of CIA to support Israel in its expansionist design from the day one the Security Council under resolution 181/1948 divided Palestine to create an unconstitutional State of Israel through a resolution which was beyond the competence of the UN Charter.
Prof. Bhim Singh in his strong communication Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh said that his own speech in the recent NAM Summit in Tehran, Iran had conveyed a straight and unambiguous message that India was against foreign intervention into the domestic affairs of a sovereign state member. While appreciating the role of Russia and China to oppose foreign intervention in Syria, he said that Russian President, Putin, has given a sound warning to the western adventurist colonial powers against any adventure in Syria. This support needs to be backed by the Non-Aligned Countries and there lies role of India. NPP Chief condemned the bloody intervention of USA and NATO countries in Yugoslavia, Iraq, Sudan and lately in Libya demolishing the historical and cultural identities of great civilization. He said that the Anglo-American Bloc has been working to expand the Israeli domination in the Middle-East and that the reason that they have, for the time being, managed to earn support of some neighbouring countries to sabotage peace and democratic government in Syria.
The National Panthers Party has decided to hold a Peace Conclave on the Middle-East on 24th & 25th of November, 2012 in New Delhi.
