Insanity: Old Dude Steals Ambulance To Get Home From Hospital

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A 77-year-old Chicago man is facing charges for allegedly stealing an ambulance from a hospital he had just left, police say.

John Neal is accused of walking out of MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn Tuesday night, hopping in an apparently idling ambulance and driving off. He had gone about 10 miles and was 2 miles from his home when officers caught up with him. They said Neal told them he took the emergency vehicle because  `I needed a ride. I needed to get home.`"

If you survive to the age of 77 you have carte blanche to do whatever the hell you want; I wouldn`t blame the old coot if he walked up to the roof of the hospital and flew the helicopter home.

If I live to be in my 70`s I`m going to fart with abandon, belch with regularity, swear with impunity, soil my diapers daily, and pinch every cute woman`s butt.

The only one who should be in trouble is the ambulance crew for leaving the idling ambulance unattended.

Shame on the cops for charging the old guy with possession of a stolen vehicle and driving without a driver`s license.

Any lawyer worth his salt should be able to make sure this dude doesn`t spend an hour behind bars.
