Evil Kid, 9, Steals Parents' Savings, Buys $4,000 Worth Of Candy!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A 9-year-old Ukrainian boy found $4,000 worth of his parents` savings stashed beneath a cushion, and then proceeded to spend it all on candy over the course of several days.

The savings contained an array of currencies, according to the report, with $3,300 in U.S. cash and 600 in euros, which amounts to about $635. The boy apparently enlisted the help of an unspecified adult, who received a tip for his services, to convert that money to Ukrainian hryvnia."

This curious story begs many questions:

*The average Ukrainian doesn`t hide a stash of various currencies in his sofa. Were the parents involved in a shady business?

*Why did it take the parents so long to discover that their loot was missing? If I had that much cash hidden in my sofa, I would check it every few minutes.

*Four thousand bucks buys a lot of candy, didn`t the hapless parents find it suspicious that the kid`s room was full of sweets?

The man who helped the boy convert the American currency into Ukrainian hryvnia was diagnosed with a mental disorder; he didn`t rip him off, although he did receive a tip for his services.

On the bright side the boy shared his candy with his friends, but if I were the dad I still would have beat the hell out of him.
