Dude Dressed As Giraffe Performs Random Acts Of Kindness

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A 32-year-old man who performs good deeds across Scotland dressed as a giraffe said the idea for his venture came to him while he was in the bathroom.

Armstrong Baillie has been spotted over the past six months handing out bananas and water to runners at the Edinburgh Half Marathon, cleaning beaches and giving free coffee to people on cold days -- all while dressed as a character he calls the Good Giraffe."

Not all ideas that come to us when we are sitting on the toilet are crappy; Baillie is spreading a lot of good will with his random acts of kindness.

Baillie, who is unemployed, funds his good deeds by performing in the streets. It could be argued that dressing like a giraffe and handing out bananas and water to runners is performance art.

Some may dismiss Baillie has a harmless goofball, but if an unemployed eccentric is doing so much good in the world, how much more should we be doing.

You don`t have to dress as a giraffe or a bumblebee to volunteer at a soap kitchen or perform a random act of kindness.
