Season 2 Premiere of FOX's "Touch" Moves to February 8

By Garrett Godwin

Like his 24 character Jack Bauer, Kiefer Sutherland is about to have another bad day, when FOX announced yesterday that Touch`s season premiere date has been pushed back to another week with a two-hour opener on Friday, February 8 at 8pm.

Touch was originally set to return for its second season last month, but was pushed back to January, then to February 1, and now on February 8.

Created by Heroes` Tim Kring, and executive produced by him and Sutherland, Touch follows Martin Bohm, a widowed father with his young son Jake, whose ability with numbers gives Martin not only the opportunity to connect with the people he`s sent to help, but also change the positive outcome of people around the world.

Maria Bello, who appeared in last season`s finale, joins the cast in a recurring role as a mother with a daughter named Ameila, who shares the same abilities as Jake.

Mykelti Williamson, who worked with Sutherland on the final season of 24, will also have a recurring role as a NYPD detective -- probably on the trail of Martin and Jake, who are now on the run from the AsterCrop, the organization that seeks to exploit Jake.

The first season of Touch is available on DVD.
