Judyth Piazza interviews Award-winning Author and Journalist Caren Goldman

Caren Goldman, an award-winning author and journalist, writes inspirational books and articles about healing, spirituality, psychology and religion.  She is also a spiritual retreat leader and conflict resolution consultant.  Her most recent book, Restoring Life`s Missing Pieces (Sky Light Paths Publishing) was named a Best Spiritual Book of 2011.   Additionally, her book Healing Words for the Body, Mind and Spirit: 101 Words To Inspire And Affirm (Morehouse Publishing) is used as a complementary resource for healing and wholeness by patients, physicians, cancer centers, hospitals, hospices, chaplains, and others worldwide. 


Caren, who is Jewish, has also co-authored two acclaimed books about Jesus of Nazareth.  Since 1995, Caren has worked as a consultant with congregations of all sizes and denominations as well as non-profits. While living in Toledo, OH, she was adjunct faculty in the mass communications department at Bowling Green State University. 


Today, Caren lives in St. Augustine, FL.  She is a co-founder of the St. Augustine Initiative for Compassion and serves on several national and local non-profit boards.  Her husband, the Rev. Ted Voorhees, is the vicar of St. Cyprian`s Episcopal Church in Lincolnville - St. Augustine`s historic African American neighborhood.
