Runaway Lemur Attacks 2-Year-Old Girl

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Two lemurs were captured early Monday morning after their owner called police.

About 2 a.m., North Miami Beach Police received the call about the lemurs that were loose near 2049 NE 173rd Street."

I hope all of my readers haven`t exited the SOP web site to google an image of a lemur.

If you are strolling the streets of Miami Beach you might expect to be attacked by an alligator or a blue-haired old lady who forgot to take her medications. But a lemur? Really?

The lemurs escaped when somebody broke into their cage in a backyard, a lemur will set you back around $2,500.

One of the lemurs scratched a 2-year-old girl; the child was treated at the scene. I ain`t afraid of no lemur, if the thing came after me I would make a sweater out of the thing before you could say "Holy Cow."
