Judyth Piazza interviews Venessa Zepeda, Author of "Superhero Princesses" on The American Perspective
Radio talk show host and journalist, Judyth Piazza interviewed Venessa Zepeda, Author of "Superhero Princesses" on The American Perspective Radio Program today.
Venessa Zepeda is a elementary school conselor and single mother to two beautiful daughters.
Venessa Zepeda has always been very close to her daughters. However, five years ago, after her divorce, she became even closer to them. She attributes finding her strength and creativity to her daughters, during this time. Venessa has tapped into this strength and creativity by experiencing life from their perspective. By allowing herself to see life through the eyes of her children, she has written her first children`s book, "Superhero Princesses." "Superhero Princesses" is about two sisters who embark on an adventurous journey in search of their missing mother. Using only their imaginations, they discover a mystery that only a superhero could solve.
During the interview Judyth asked Venessa, "What is the most important lesson you`ve learned from this project?" Venessa responded by saying, "writing from the heart".
Venessa shared that her friend and mentor, Lena told her to listen and review the source when listening and dealing with people. She said negative people will drain your energy and suck the life out of you.
