Judyth Piazza interviews Jay Forte, Author of The Greatness Zone on The AP

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

Radio Talk Show Host Judyth Piazza chats with Performance Consultant, Speaker and Author Jay Forte about his new book, The Greatness Zone on The American Perspective Radio Program.

During the interview Jay says, "Those who know how to maximize their performance, work and live in an extraordinary way. And, if given the choice of ordinary or extraordinary, why choose ordinary?"

Judyth asked Jay, "What key quality do you believe all successful people share?" Jay`s response, "Successful people are self aware. They`re aware that they are not great at everything and they choose wisely about the things they want to do and how they want to show up. They are very connected and aware of who they really are and what particular abilities they have. They play to those abilities, they find place in the world to do that so when they show up, they show up in a really successful way."

Jay says he teaches organizations how to maximize manager performance, ignite employee performance and advance women`s performance, all with an underlying focus on first advancing our personal performance. He has helped organizations and individuals become more performance-driven, more successful and more capable in work and life.

Judyth asked Jay, "What is something your dad may have said to you that you always remember to pass on to others?" Jay said his dad and mentor told him, you were born "awesome" exactly as you are." What that means you have everything you need and all the right stuff to have a really amazing life"  We are given the window into our "awesome" through our passions, talents and dreams."

Jay passes these words of wisdom on to people around the world.
