"The Italian American Oprah" Judyth Piazza interviews Sarah Book Publishing Author, Gwendolyn Cowgill

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

Radio Talk Show Host and Journalist, Judyth Piazza chats with Gwendolyn Cowgill, Author of "And Then There Was Cuba" on The American Perspective Today.

"And then there was Cuba," published by Sarah Book Publishing, is an adventurous work of fiction, historically based on the true-life story of a family who gave up a comfortable, stable life in Indiana to move lock, stock and barrel to undeveloped La Gloria, Cuba.

Gwendolyn says her grandmother was her inspiration behind the book.  She felt that her grandmother`s amazing story needed to be told to help others experiencing the same struggles in life.

Gwendolyn`s grandmother moved to Cuba when she was twelve years old during the dangerous political turmoil, influx of pirates and bandits to a little town called La Gloria. These pioneers strike out from the US to give their lives to the promise of prosperity, tropical climate, and good health. That promise turns into a struggle of survival and disappointment when reality differs from promise..

During the interview Judyth asks Gwendolyn, "What key quality do you believe all successful people share?" "They share a vision and a perspective of whatever has to be done that you can do it, said Gwendolyn.

"And Then There Was Cuba" a true-life story will touch your heart and soul.
