Don Clifford to Appear on The American Perspective for the 2nd Time
Author Don Clifford has teamed up with Sarah Book Publishing to publish another book. This time a children`s book, "Zoo Nonsense".
Don Clifford was born October 11, 1932, in Valparaiso, Indiana. Don and his two sisters were raised by their single dad, David M. Clifford.
Clifford attended the University of Nebraska, Lincoln NB. 1950 " 1951 and enlisted in USAF in October 1952. He was accepted into the Aviation Cadet program that included basic navigation training at the former Harlingen AFB, Texas, from 1953 " 1954. There he earned wings and a Commission as 2nd Lieutenant at the former James Connelly AFB, Waco, Texas in April 1954. In July 1954, he married Evelyn Zuniga, San Benito, Texas and had two wonderful children, David and Maureen but was later divorced in 1974.
Don remarried in May 1976 to Elaine Beakley, Harlingen, TX and has two stepchildren, Shelley and Ronald. After retiring from the USAF as Director of Information, 9th Air Force, Shaw AFB, South Carolina he has owned and operated several businesses, and is now employed as a freelance features writer for HORIZON, a weekly features publication, Brownsville, TX.
In "Zoo Nonsense", Author Don Clifford and Olga Cruhm have combined their talents to create a wonderful alphabet learning aid that children, parents and grandparents alike will enjoy!
Fun with words and how they can be twisted into off-the-wall sentences is the hallmark of Don Clifford`s Zoo Nonsense. The easy to remember limerick style of poetry adds to the overall enjoyment of reading Clifford`s wacky poems.
Illustrator Olga Cruhm`s artistry adds a visual treat and in many instances is just as wacky as the poetry.
