Ford Apolgizes For Ad Featuring Kardashians In Trunk With Paris Hilton As Driver

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Ford was forced to apologize Monday for a series of ads that feature scantily clad cartoon women, including caricatures of the Kardashian sisters, bound and gagged in the trunk of a hatchback.

While the ads were never officially released, the images caused an uproar online after they were posted late Friday on the Ads of the World website. The campaign appears to have been geared toward an Indian audience -- the car featured is a Figo, which is manufactured in India and sold in developing countries."

New York Daily News

The poster featuring caricatures of the Kardashian sisters, bound and gagged in the trunk of a hatchback, has a Paris Hilton look-a-like driving the car.

This particular ad isn`t anti-women as much as it is anti-celeb bimbos. Most discerning consumers will realize the focus of derision  are witless celebs and not women in general.

This ad is disturbing because it assumes Indians are familiar with the likes of Paris Hilton and the Kardashian sisters. How sad that one of our greatest exports is trash TV; I hope most world citizens realize that Americans aren`t anything at all like reality stars.

This ad is funny because Paris Hilton would love to kidnap and God only knows do what to the Kardashians for following her template for reality TV success.
