"Organizers of Detroit`s annual Marche du Nain Rouge said 4,000 people turned out to heckle the legendary red dwarf.
Peter Van Dyke, organizer of the fourth annual event at 1 p.m. Sunday, said 4,000 people, many in colorful costumes and playing musical instruments, turned up to heckle Nain Rouge, the legendary red dwarf considered the manifestation of doom for Detroit and its residents, the Detroit Free Press reported Monday.
He said the event is aimed at raising the spirits of Detroit residents, who are encouraged to have fun with it."
Detroit is morally and financially bankrupt, and its fortunes won`t be reversed by heckling a red dwarf. If the citizens of Detroit want to turn things around they must tar and feather, and run the dwarf out of town on a rail.
But the poor dwarf has probably already suffered enough, undoubtedly he`s already been mugged and beat up by the good people of the Motor City.
Anything that will raise the spirits of Detroit residents is a good thing; I hope that for at least one day they forgot they live in a failed city.
It`s untrue that Danny Devito was playing the part of the red dwarf.
