By Robert Paul Reyes

"A woman who recently marked her 90th birthday said she decided to celebrate the occasion by skydiving with her two sons in Alabama.

Marion Stangler, who turned 90 April 1, said it took some convincing to get her sons, Al Martin, 69, and Jeff Martin, 65, to accompany her to the Emerald Coast Skydiving Center in Elberta at 9 a.m. Saturday to jump out of a plane at 13,000 feet, WALA-TV, Mobile, Ala., reported Tuesday."

UPI

The 90-year-old woman decided to go skydiving to celebrate her birthday after having a few drinks. Nothing works better than liquid courage to inspire a daredevil stunt.

Her sons Al, 69 and Jeff, 65, also skydived to help mom celebrate her 90th birthday. What the hell if I gulped enough drinks and wore Depends I might also skydive.

I applaud the gumption and the spirit of the adventurous old lady. It appears her sons inherited her love for thrills, I hope they all enjoy plenty more years of excitement.
