Outrage: City Officials Boot Giant Dinosaur Statue From Zoomars Petting Zoo
"City officials in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., said they booted a 40-foot statue of an Apatosaurus from a petting zoo because it was deemed an eyesore.
Carolyn Franks, owner of Zoomars, the petting zoo, purchased the friendly-faced dinosaur last year for $12,000 from a Romanian shopping mall and brought it to her Los Rios Street venue, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday."
The city officials should be impeached for booting the kid-friendly dinosaur from the Zoomars petting zoo.
Children love creepy crawlies, baby animals and dinosaurs, especially a dinosaur statue with a smiling face.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and in my humble opinion the dinosaur wasn`t an eyesore, it was a huge symbol of fun.
The friendly dinosaur has found a new home; the owner of Zoomars sold the work of art to Grand Canyon Caverns, a tourist attraction in Peach Springs, Arizona.
