Professor: Eating Boogers Good For You! Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A University of Saskatchewan professor hypothesizes a person could benefit from picking his or her nose and eating the findings.

Scott Napper, a biochemistry professor at the Saskatoon school, posed the unsavory hypothesis to his students.

`By consuming those pathogens caught within the mucus, could that be a way to teach your immune system about what it`s surrounded with?` Napper asked."

Saskatchewan is province in Canada where the few residents have a million names for snow, and little to do besides throwing snowballs at each other and eating their boogers.

I don`t pay any attention to the egghead professors in America; I`m certainly not going to heed the advice of a professor in Saskatchewan, Canada.

The professor got the brilliant idea that eating mucus might be good for us by watching his young daughters pick their noses, and eating the findings.

Toddlers are wont to pick their diapers and eat their own feces; it won`t be long before the professor is advocating eating our own waste.
