Judyth Piazza Interviews Dr. Richard Funk, Author of the Original Unabridged Version of The Winds of the Gods
Radio talk show host and journalist, Judyth Piazza chats with Sarah Book Publishing Author Dr. Richard Funk for the 2nd Time on The American Perspective. This time about the Original Unabridged version of The Winds of the Gods: An Archeological Action- Adventure Novel.
During the interview Judyth asked Richard what the difference was between the original version and the paperback copy.
Richard said, "There are many differences between each version. We cut over 40,000 words when we were editing so that Sarah Book Publishing would be able to publish the book and now that they had the printing capabilities to do a hard copy version they did it."
The Winds of the Gods: An Archeological Action- Adventure Novel was the first hard copy published by Sarah Book Publishing.
Richard said he has always been fond of archeology and loves the research involved.
Richard N. Funk graduated from The University of Texas in 1965 and received his PhD in 1977. He taught in high school and college for over twenty years. Following that, he worked as Senior Policy Analyst for both Governors Bush and Perry. In the governor`s office, he researched state policy issues and wrote extensively for agency publication. He is currently retired and living with his wife on Lake Travis in Lago Vista, Texas. Dr. Funkhas long been interested in history and archeology and has done extensive reading and research in both Mayan and Roman history.
