Woman Chokes To Death On Hot Dog At Wrigley Field

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A suburban teacher and avid Cubs fan has died following a choking accident while at the game on Sunday at Wrigley Field.

Maureen Oleskiewicz was with her brother when she began choking on a hot dog and collapsed.

The 28-year-old teacher at Independence Junior High in Palos Heights was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital. She was kept alive until Tuesday so that doctors could harvest her organs for donation, family members told the Chicago Sun-Times."

Watching a baseball game at Wrigley Field, and drinking a beer and eating a hot dog is as close to heaven as we can get this side of the great divide.

If I could choose the place of my death it would be a no-brainer: ATT & T Park in San Francisco watching my beloved San Francisco Giants play.

It`s tragic Maureen died at such a young age, but at least she cied enjoying the nation`s pastime. The Chicago Cubs should hold a moment of silence as a tribute to Maureen, with free hot dogs for all the fans.
