Couple See Image of Jesus Christ in Newspaper Ink Blob
"A Connecticut man says he spotted an image of Jesus Christ in a blob of ink on a page of his local newspaper.
Joseph McCaffrey told the Norwalk Hour he was reading the May 2 edition of the paper when he spotted the oddly shaped blob of ink in the movie section and showed it to his wife, Wendy.
"I didn`t see it at first, but as I was reading the paper, I said to my wife, the movie section is blotted out with ink and held it up for her to see," McCaffrey said. `And she shouted, `It`s Jesus!`"
This is a Rorschach test in which a subject interprets inkblot designs in terms that reveal intellectual, emotional, and psychological factors.
That same ink blob would look like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton or Angelina Jolie to yours truly.
The faithful and greedy will notice the inkblot on the "Norwalk Hour" and see an image of Jesus that they can worship, and then sell on eBay for hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.
I`m not particularly surprised that someone saw an inkblot that looks like Jesus, but I am surprised that some people still read newspapers.
