Outrage: City Orders Homeowner To Take Down Christmas Decorations

"A Pennsylvania homeowner is accusing township officials of selective enforcement for ordering his brother, who lives in the home, to remove yard decorations.


Robert Ansell, owner of the Ross Township home, said he and his brother, William, the home`s resident, have been ordered to remove the toys and Christmas decorations from the yard by May 29 or face a $3,000 fine."


This incident isn`t an example of the so-called "War on Christmas", it`s a prosecution of an aesthetic crime.

Each year merchants put on Christmas decorations earlier and earlier;  I can understand why this dude`s neighbors are up in arms over his year-round Christmas decorations.

However, a man`s home is his castle, and this dude should be allowed to have Santa, the Baby Jesus, and Rudolph the Reindeer decorations in his yard all year long.

If you ask me, this dude`s neighbors need to get a life.
