Judyth Piazza interviews Barry Jones, Author of Letters to Toby
Radio talk show host and journalist, Judyth Piazza interviews Sarah Book Publishing Author, Barry Jones about his new novel, "Letters to Toby" on The American Perspective Radio Program and The SOP Radio Network.
Barry is a retired high school history teacher and basketball coach from Tennessee. He is currently residing with his wife of twenty-three years and his four children in Alpena, Michigan as he and his family transition from a teaching and coaching career to a writing and public speaking ministry.
Letters to Toby is a heart wrenching story about a young boy at the age of 15 whose father has recently passed away. Toby faces many struggles as he and his family try to pick up the pieces and begin life again in a new town which threatens to derail any hopes and dreams he might have had for a better life. And a life without his father.
During the interview Judyth asks Barry, "Which letter was the most difficult for you to write and the most emotional?" "The first one," said Barry.
Barry said he cried and cried while writing this book. It was an emotional rollercoaster for him and he hopes that all parents across the world with read it and apply it to their daily lives.
