"Parents of a Washington teen who said their daughter was turned away from her prom because her low-cut dress showed her large bust want a public apology.
Brittany Minder, a student at Central Kitsap High School in Silverdale, said what should have been a magical evening was spoiled by school officials who said she had to cover her cleavage to comport with school rules."
Brittany wasn`t allowed to enter the prom until she covered up her cleavage with a shawl. What should have been the most magical night of Brittany`s high school career was ruined by school officials. The young girl was so humiliated that she left the prom after only one hour.
The young girl says her gown was designed for a woman with a larger than average bust size. Because of her large size naturally her cleavage will be more prominent. A girl with Paris Hilton-size breasts would have had no problem getting into the prom if she wore a similar dress.
Schools should have a dress code, but school officials should demonstrate common sense in enforcing the rules. Don`t ruin a girl`s prom night just to make yourself look good.
The buxom young lady was publicly humiliated, and she deserves a public apology from the school administrators.
What do you think? Rules are rules or give girlfriend a break?
