Obama The Most Authoritarian and Dangerous President In History
I will also hold myself as president to a new standard of openness.... Let me say it as simply as I can: Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency.
Newly sworn in President Barack Obama in January of 2009
Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
The Obama administration Drone program has targeted and killed countless alleged terrorists (including Americans); sometimes without the CIA agents operating the joysticks even knowing the identity of the individuals they have marked for execution.
The Obama regime has data-mined the phone records of everyone in America, and used the IRS as a political arm to undermine the conservative opposition.
Obama`s formerly top-secret Prism program has direct access to servers of Internet giants including Google, Apple and Facebook. It turns out even mighty Google is beholden to the most authoritarian president ever to sit in the Oval Office.
When a rare member of the press who isn`t in lockstep with the Obama team tries to uncover the administration`s hidden agenda he is immediately put under investigation by the FBI.
To sum things up the Obama regime listens to our phone calls, reads our emails, keeps track of the Web sites we visit, and then has the audacity to still claim that transparency is its goal and the rule of law its abiding principle.
Obama claims that he is operating under rule of law because his snooping and trampling of our civil liberties have been approved by the FISA Court. This secret body oversees requests for surveillance warrants against suspected foreign intelligence agents inside the United States by the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies.
The FISA Court is nothing more than a rubber stamp; it has approved each and every request by the White House.
If transparency is Obama`s byword, it shouldn`t have taken leaks for the American public to realize that Big Brother is taking notes of everything that we say and do.
Call me a cynic, but I don`t see the Obama White House renouncing its covert war on the civil liberties of the American people.
Where`s the outrage from the American citizenry? If I found out that my next-door neighbor was tapping my phone lines and secretly videotaping me, I would beat the bloody hell out of him. But most Americans seem undisturbed by the pervasive and systematic snooping of the federal government.
Where are the editorials condemning our invasion of privacy? They are few and far between, the media, for the most part, is complicit in the dark agenda of the Obama administration.
Where are the politicans blasting Obama`s pernicious attack on the Constitution? The few Tea Party types speaking out against this outrage should be joined by libertarians, mainstream conservatives and liberals.
Power has absolutely corrupted President Barack Obama, and talk of impeachement shouldn`t be out of the question.
Wake up America, it`s 1984!
