Kidney Patient, 13, Holds Dance Recital At Hospital: Video

"Rain Hidalgo`s battle with kidney disease has kept her from attending her real recital at home. But dialysis or no dialysis, the show must go on.


`I am here because I am waiting on a kidney transplant. Both of my kidneys are really bad,` said Hidalgo."

It`s impossible to endure life without being battered and bruised, but we mustn`t let life`s trials and tribulations keep us down.

Too many adults give up in despair when they get fired, lose a home, get divorced or suffer any number of tragedies.

Here`s a 13-year-old girl at death`s door who made her dream come true at a Children`s Hospital where she is desperately waiting for new kidneys.

Not only did she hold a dance recital at the hospital, but she handled every aspect of the event: The programs, the door prizes, everything!

The show must go on! Don`t give up, keep fighting, and keep living!
