The Mobile Journalists of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a program put together and championed by young dedicated disciples that fear no walls, they objectively seek the truth in knowledge based on service and commitment to humanity.

Sue Groves has just been re-elected for her third year as President of Valley Byliners, the local writers` group in Harlingen. Some of their authors have books published by Sarah Book Publishing and Byliners.  Their writers range from poets and novelists, to non-fiction writers and reporters, to a published graphic novelist who completed an historical reference book on action heroes for Warner Brothers and is a university professor, and ....one screenwriter, Sue Groves.

Sue is also a member of the Harlingen Noon Toastmasters` (public speaking) club.  In addition, she is a volunteer lay minister (on call) at local hospitals, and serves as a lector (reader) at weekend Mass.  Sue was installed in the lay ministry by Cardinal Roger Mahoney in Los Angeles in July, 2007.

During the school year,  Sue teaches second grade religious education (also volunteer) at St. Anthony`s elementary school.

In her spare time Sue writes for RGV Beyond Arts Magazine.  Sue has always been passionate about helping her community as well as student journalists to continue to grow and prosper.
