Judyth Piazza interviews Pamela Proehl, Author of The Heartbreak Killer

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

Born in Seattle, Pamela Proehl spent her early childhood in Huntsville, Alabama before returning to Washington. A Washington State University alumna, she retired from medical sales to devote herself to writing. Her first published work was Whispers from the Heart (Xlbris, April 2011), a lyrical collection of poems she co-authored with her teenage son, Westin.

Working with her son was a joy and a gift, explained Pamela. "It really reinforced that writing is what I love to do," she said. I feel very lucky that I am able to share that experience with my family."

A huge fan of murder mysteries, Pamela decided on the psychological thriller as the genre for her debut novel, The Heartbreak Killer, just released in April. The killer hunts his victims in the streets of Seattle. Locals will recognize Washington`s signature weather in Proehl`s creative prose, what sounded like a thousand little ļ¬ngers tapping on a computer keyboard, and familiar locations surrounding Lake Washington as the backdrop to nerve wracking drama unfolding in her story.
