Taco Bell Claims Marijuana Expo Used Logo Without Permission
"Taco Bell and Del Taco officials said they asked for their logos to be removed from ads for a California medical marijuana expo.
Barbara Caruso, spokeswoman for Del Taco, said organizers of Anaheim`s Kush Expo never sought permission before putting the fast-food chain`s logo on the convention`s promotional materials, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday."
Taco Bell officials must have been high when they requested that their logos be removed from ads for a California marijuana expo.
A weed convention has the perfect demographics for a Taco Bell marketing tie-in. Marijuana and snacks and fast food go together like a hamburger and french fries.
It seems like every month another state or municipality legalizes or at least decriminalizes marijuana, the magical herb no longer has an unsavory reputation.
Come on Taco Bell dudes, embrace the weed!
