'Please Slow Drively' Traffic Sign Driving Commuters Bonkers: Video
"A traffic sign installed outside a private preschool in Auburn, California, urging drivers to slow down is certainly getting noticed, but, ironically, is making the street less safe for kids.
An odd "typo` -- which may or may not be intentionally -- has resulted in the sign asking passing motorists to "please slow drively.` "
I don`t think it was a typo; if it was a mistake the sign would have been replaced long ago.
I think the sign was purposefully designed, but why?
Maybe the sign is intended for slightly inebriated drivers, when they look at the sign they will think they`ve had too much to drink and slow down.
Perhaps its purpose it to make all drivers slow down, the average driver will slow down to a crawl trying to make sense out of the sign.
Could it be a politically-correct driven attempt to make all drivers feel the confusion of dyslectic citizens?
I`m not ruling out that it`s part of a government conspiracy to drive us nuts!
What say you?
