Lights Spotted Over Kansas City! Enough UFO Tomfoolery! Video!
"Mysterious lights were spotted Saturday over Kansas City and Tucson, Ariz., sparking UFO speculations, according to a report on The Huffington Post."
UFO: Unidentified Flying Object
The word "UFO" isn`t synonymous with a flying saucer manned by extraterrestrials. It simply means that it`s a light or an object that hasn`t been identified yet.
Police dispatchers and journalists should be instructed to use the term "lights in the sky" instead of "UFO" when a drunk or bored person with nothing better to do reports mysterious objects in the sky.
Interest in UFO`s would quickly dissipate if headlines read "lights in the sky over New York City " instead of "UFO`s swarm the skies over the Big Apple."
In any big city there could be a thousand and one reasons for lights in the sky: Chinese lanterns, drones, small planes, helicopters, getting bashed over the head by a mugger, the bat signal...
Enough of this UFO tomfoolery! Sometimes a light in the sky is just a light in the sky.
