Shark Week Madness: Dead Shark Rides New York City Subway! Video!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"New York City`s transit authority says a conductor found a small dead shark aboard a subway train in Queens on Wednesday.

The conductor asked passengers to leave the car and closed it off. The train continued to the end of the line, and then a supervisor placed the shark in a garbage bag and put it in the trash."

ABC News

This incident is enough to make even the most laidback New Yorker shout: Enough is enough! I have had it with these motherloving sharks on this motherloving train!

I can imagine a shark hitching a ride on a boat, but what can possibly explain a shark, dead or alive, aboard a subway train?

This is S"hark Week" on the Discovery Channel, and perhaps it`s an elaborate publicity stunt. We know the Discovery Channel isn`t adverse to publicity, witness its Megalodon Mockumentary controversy.

Maybe the Obama administration`s terror alert this week wasn`t complete bullcrap, and Islamic terrorists have one again attacked our transportation system.

But on a serious note, it`s not a dead shark on a NYC subway that freaks me out; it`s the very much alive muggers, mashers and maniacs that ride the subway.
