Cops To Hand Out Doritos At Hempfest 2013: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Seattle police said they will spread information on Washington state`s marijuana legalization law via stickers on bags of chips at this weekend`s Hempfest.

The Seattle Police Department said officers will be at Hempfest, billed as the world`s largest marijuana rally, to distribute bags of chips bearing stickers pointing the recipients toward the department`s "Mariwhatnow?` FAQ on the state`s marijuana legalization law, weekly Seattle newspaper The Stranger reported Thursday."

A stoner ain`t about to read the nutritional information on a bag of Doritos or a sticker explaining Washington`s marijuana legalization law.

But I commend the cops for providing free munchies to the weed lovers at Hempfest, who says the police aren`t good for anything?

The sticker explains that potheads are allowed to possess as much as an ounce of cannabis, but the law still prohibits growing and selling weed without licenses, which the state plans to begin issuing later this year.

With all that marijuana smoke wafting through the air at Hempfest, I predict that a spirit of brotherhood will prevail, and even the cops will be blowing bubbles and dancing with strangers.
