Linda Ronstadt Fighting Parkinson's, Unable To Sing: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Linda Ronstadt, the U.S. pop star who won Grammies from the 1970s through the `90s, says she now has Parkinson`s disease that has left her unable to sing.

In an interview with the American Association of Retired Persons, Ronstadt, 67, said she experienced symptoms for years before she got a diagnosis."

Linda Ronstadt enjoyed enormous success in the 70`s, and at the zenith of her career she was the highest paid woman in rock.

Ronstadt is still a staple on radio stations with an oldies or easy listening format. Her brand of mellow country rock never goes out of style, and her music will continue to be played for decades to come.

It`s heartbreaking that Ronstadt can no longer sing, fortunately she`s left us hundreds of wonderful songs.

Linda, you are in the thoughts and prayers of your fans!
