Bank Robber Fell Down 21 Stories In Garbage Chute

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Police say a man suspected in a Chase Bank robbery was found in a nearby building after they believe he fell 21 floors down a garbage chute.

Police say 26-year-old Robin Gutheridge has been arrested in connection to the robbery which occurred at the Chase Bank located at the 110 West Fayette St., at about 9:25 a.m. on Thursday."

It`s depressing reading the newspaper; it`s a chronicle of crime, cruelty and corruption. Watching the news is calculated to make even a true believer wonder where`s God in the madness, but every once in a while there`s a story that makes even an agnostic temporarily believe that there`s a method to the madness.

This incident may not be an example of divine justice, but it`s certainly poetic justice. Not to put too fine a point on it but Gutheridge is human trash, and the perfect place for him is the bottom of a garbage chute.

The hapless bank robber is in critical condition, and it pains me that taxpayer money is being used to nurse this human waste back to health.

This oxygen thief will face a third-degree robbery charge when he is released from the hospital.
