Cops Free Skunk With Its Head Stuck In Jar: Video
"Authorities in New Jersey said two police officers and an animal control officer were able rescue a skunk with its head stuck in a jar without getting sprayed.
An animal control officer covered the skunk`s body with a trashcan to prevent it from spraying while the police officers used an expandable baton to break the jar.
The skunk walked away unharmed and the officers were able to walk away from the incident without becoming victims of the animal`s signature stench."
Most of us would give a skunk, regardless whether it has its head stuck in a jar or not, a wide berth.
But the brave animal control officer and the cops risked being sprayed by the skunk to free the little creature.
The officers walked away from this incident smelling like roses, they are scholars, gentlemen, and knights in shining armor.
Whenever you see an animal in distress, whether it`s a kitten stuck up a tree, a deer that`s been hit by a car, or a skunk with its head stuck in a jar, do the right thing and call animal control.
