Danish Cat Turns Up In England

By Robert Paul Reyes

"An English woman who found a stray cat in her garden said she took the feline to a veterinary clinic and was shocked to find it had come from Denmark.

Karen Gambrell of Folkestone said she brought the friendly cat, which she named Brontie, to a local veterinary clinic, where her ID chip was scanned and her place of origin was found to be Denmark.

The Cats Protection in England has been unable to match the cat`s ID number to an owner. How civilized of England to have on organization called "The Cats Protection."

There`s something rotten in Demark... How do we explain the mystery of a cat from Denmark found in England?

Did the feline stow away in an automobile or on a ship to cross the English Channel?

Did the kitty swim to Britain? I guess we can rule this option out, cats are too lazy.

Is the furball the pet of someone who recently moved, but has not updated the cat`s microchip information?

Curiosity killed the cat, and it might be the end of me if I don`t solve the mystery of this cute critter.

Thank goodness my two cats are safe at home with me. I never let them outdoors; God only knows where they would run away.
