Golf Course Apologizes for $9.11 promotion on Sept. 11: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A Wisconsin golf course has apologized for promoting a special $9.11 rate for games played on the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

Tumbledown Trails in Verona had offered the special rate for playing nine holes with carts Wednesday and $19.11 for 18-hole rounds played on the anniversary, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Tuesday."

This scandalous promotion has outraged Americans; some folks have gone as far as to threaten the burn the golf course.

I hope that calmer heads prevail, Tumbledown Trails shouldn`t be burned down, but I hope it goes out of business.  I call on patriotic golfers in Verona, Wisconsin to boycott this business. It`s an unforgiveable sin for the owners to try to make money off the death of almost three thousand victims of 9/11.

Let`s commemorate 9/11 in a more dignified way by observing a moment of silence for the victims and heroes of this day that will live in infamy.
