Cincinnati Bengals' Fans Roar In Outrage When Katy Perry's 'Roar' Is Played; Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"You can play your AC/DC, your Nickelback, your P.O.D., your Papa Roach . . . you can play some really terrible music at NFL stadiums and nobody will say a word.

But Katy Perry? Nuh uh.

The Cincinnati Bengals found out that the hard way, when they played the bubblegum pop star`s song, `Roar,` before, during and after Monday`s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paul Brown Stadium. It was the song to which the Bengals entered the field."

Fox News Sports

Tully Corcoran, the Fox Sports reporter, should be banned from covering football for suggesting that it`s acceptable to play Nickelback at a football game. The Canadian rockers are loathed by football fans; they have been jeered and ridiculed for having the temerity to play at NFL games.

The Cincinnati Bengals` fans roared in outrage when they heard Katy Perry`s "Roar". The fans should be commended for their remarkable restraint for not storming the field and attacking everyone in sight in a fit of rage.

It`s OK for the Cincinnati Bengals cheerleaders, the Ben-Gals, to play "Roar"to inspire them as they practice their routines, but it`s an affront to God, the NFL, and the fans for any Katy Perry song to be played during a game.

Let`s get real, a pussycat can only roar so loud. It`s anathema for Katy Perry`s insipid pop tunes to be heard in an NFL stadium.
