Teacher Dyes Hair & Beard Pink In Support Of Breast Cancer Awareness: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A Washington state teacher made good on his promise to dye his hair and beard pink when his students donated 45 pounds of candy for a fall festival.

David Robinson, a teacher at East Valley High School in Spokane Valley, told his students he would keep his hair and beard pink for one week in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month if they raised the candy for the school`s fall festival, which hosts trick-or-treating for local children."

Breast cancer awareness is a cause that is dear to Robinson`s heart, his mother died of Hodgkin`s-Lymphoma when he was 34 years of age.

Robinson, 62, will be retiring at the end of this school year, and I think he just wanted to let his freak flag fly high before stepping down.

But it`s all for a good cause, and I applaud Robinson for making good on his promise, even though he certainly doesn`t look good in pink.

Dudes you need to step up to the plate and support breast cancer research, we don`t expect you to dye your beard pink, but maybe you can wear a pink ribbon or donate to cancer research.
