Dude Argues Denial of 'COPSLIE' Plate Violates his Free Speech: Video
"An Alabama-based tanning salon is apologizing for what some are calling a controversial advertisement.
A New Hampshire man told the state`s highest court Thursday that denying him a vanity license plate that reads `COPSLIE` violates his political free speech rights.
David Montenegro, of Farmington, said he wanted the plate because he feels it epitomizes government corruption."
Las year David Montenegro legally changed his name to "human", anybody who changes his name to such a ridiculous moniker is somewhat of an a-hole.
But even a-holes have a right to free speech, and he should be allowed to have a vanity plate that reads "COPSLIE."
"COPSEATDONUTS" and "COPSRACIALLY PROFILE" also neatly sum up police behavior, but they are too long for a license plate.
Human said that when a cop pulls him over and types"COPSLIE" into his computer it would amount to "the perfect situational irony."
Amen and Amen!
