Outrage: Home Depot Tweets Blatantly Racist Pic: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"As part of its sponsorship of ESPN`s College Game Day, Home Depot tweeted a photo of two African-American bucket drummers and a person dressed as a monkey with the caption,  `Which drummer is not like the others?`"

It`s not just boozy and druggie celebs like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Amanda Bynes who post outrageous tweets that they regret as soon as they sober up.

Even huge corporations with multi-million budgets for marketing and advertising also post ridiculous messages on social media sites.

Home Depot took down the offensive tweet almost immediately, but the damage has been done.

In an apology, Home Depot tweeted: We have zero tolerance for anything so stupid and offensive. Deeply sorry. We terminated agency and individual who posted it.

Sorry, but a simple apology doesn`t make amends for posting such a blatantly racist photograph. Home Depot needs to donate $10 million to an African American charity, say the United Negro College Fund?

Until Home Depot makes proper amends for its horrific mistake; I will go to Lowe`s to buy materials for my home improvement projects.
